Lectriq, also known as Maxim Laskavy, is an American record producer, remixer, mixing engineer, and mastering engineer.
Lectriq first established himself as a prominent fixture on the Philadelphia music scene in the mid 2000’s by collaborating with the area’s top dance music DJs and producers, including Derek Turcios and Phillip Charles, which led to multitude of critically acclaimed international releases of EDM, Tech and Deep House records (King Street NY, Inkfish Sweden, HMM Italy).
In 2008 Lectriq was invited to join award-winning Philadelphia based production company, Matrax, where he combined his unique dance music sensibilities with various urban flavors, forging his own distinctive Pop music production style.
After collaborating on genre-spanning recordings as part of the Matrax team, Lectriq stepped out on his own as an independent producer/engineer. This new-found creative freedom allowed him to conceive more worldwide Dance music releases while leading the production of the newly released lead single and upcoming debut album by Philadelphia recording artist Raje Shwari.
In 2014 Lectriq joined I AM Entertainment, a young and ambitious Philadelphia based record label, where he’s been producing world class Pop records for the label’s fresh and expanding roster of artists, such as Chase J of Atlanta, and Philadelphia’s own Trini Savah.
Lectriq continues to broaden his creative horizons, as evidenced by his recent thunderous production of legendary US cult Heavy Metal quartet Nitro.
